Lotus Sutra and Mantras:

Lotus Sutra and Mantras:
*Lotus Sutra* -
The lotus flower is pure and fragrant, unsullied by the muddy water in which it grows. Like lotus flower, the beauty and dignity of our humanity is brought forth amidst the sufferings.
"Wake up to the fundamental law of bringing  wisdom and compassion and realizing that we are inherently Buddhas able to solve our own problems".
Lotus Sutra, the mystic Law transforms the life of anyone—even the unhappiest person, into a life of supreme happiness.
The essence of Buddhism is the conviction that
"We have within us  the ability to overcome any problem or difficulty that we may encounter in life; a capacity to transform any suffering".

*The capacity to transform suffering is innate within all beings*.- Buddha
Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism, who lived some 2,500 years ago in India, first awoke to this law out of a compassionate yearning to enable all people to be free of the inevitable pains of life. It is because of this that he is known as Buddha, or “Awakened One.” This fundamental law is contained within Shakyamuni’s Lotus Sutra.
Mantras:
*Nam Myo Ho Renge Kyo*
Nichiren, the 13th-century Buddhist monk named it Nam-myoho-renge-kyo as a practical way for all people to focus their hearts and minds upon this law and manifest its transformative power in reality.
It is a vow, dedication, to embrace and manifest our Buddha nature. It is a pledge to oneself to never yield to difficulties and to win over one’s suffering
Nam  means to devote or dedicate.
Myo means mystic
Ho means law.
Renge, means lotus blossom.
Through this Buddhist practice, he developed, a way for all people to activate this power within their own lives and experience the joy that comes from being able to liberate oneself from suffering.
The mantra Nam myoho renge kyo is an homage to the Lotus Sutra which is widely credited as the "king of scriptures" and "final word on Buddhism".
Nam Myoho Renge Kyo” has a very strong effect in changing one's life and go towards the right path. Chanting “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo” leads to mystic results and gives answers to your state of current life.

*Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ*
Another principal mantra in Buddhism is Oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ  or ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ It is the most famous mantra in Tibetian Buddhism ; recited, painted  carved on rocks, prayer wheels, or yak skulls. It is the six-syllabled Sanskrit mantra particularly associated with the four-armed Shadakshari form of Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion. Om Mani Padme Hum is a well-loved Buddhist mantra translated as, I am the jewel in the lotus." It is the mantra of the Buddha of Compassion. OM is the sound of the universe, resonating at 432 Hz, this is the entire world in just one intense pranav sound. Om Mani Padme Hum is a popular Buddhist chant that can invoke compassion, release burdensome emotions, and create inner harmony. The mantra helps replace negative feelings with those of generosity, ethics, patience, perseverance, concentration, and wisdom. Every Tibetan child is taught Om Mani Padme Hum by their parents, and many Tibetan Buddhists chant the mantra as part of their ritual practice,

*Namo Amida Buddha*.
O Blessed One, Shakyamuni Buddha, Precious treasury of compassion, Bestower of supreme inner peace, You, who love all beings without exception, are the source of happiness and goodness; And you guide us to the liberating path.
