Higher chakras
Higher Chakras:
Ajna system and Sahasrara system
Beyond the first six chakras, between Ajñā Chakra and the Crown Chakra (Sahasrara Chakra), many other Chakras, levels, or layers of reality are experienced. For the aspirant who is willing to do so.Though they are called as Minor Chakras and very little is written about them.
Their knowledge is crucial to transcend Ajñā Chakra system and reach Sahasrara Chakra and the stage of Oneness (Ekatma) and experience unmani. Most religions of the world believe in duality or Dvaita between devotee and God and think Oneness is an impossible achievement. Shaivism's Advaita doctrine believe in oneness as a natural stage and this world we see is Maya or illusion. Veerashaiva 's Shakti-Vishistadvaita believe in achieving Oneness (from duality to oneness) and world is real not an illusion.
In subtle body, there are several chakras, or energy centers which are all closely related to eachother at the top of the head. Rising from Ajna, we have the Manas Chakra, Indu Chakra, Site of Mahanada, Nirvana Chakra, Guru Chakra, Sahasrāra Chakra, Bindu point, Shika Chakra at Bindu kshetra at posterior fontanelle, Paschim chakra and Anu chakra. Out of these Manas Chakra, Indu Chakra and Site of Mahanada belong to Ajñā System. Nirvana Chakra, Guru Chakra, Sahasrāra Chakra and Bindu point belong to Sahasrara system.
Sharanas practicing Shivayoga, a higher level of yoga with Ishtalinga held in left palm and practicing Drashti yoga or Lingaanga- yoga identified Shika Chakra at Bindu kshetra at posterior fontanelle, Paschim chakra and Anu chakra as 8th 9th 10th chakras.
