Kundalini yoga 2
Kundalini yoga2:
We frequently hear how raising kundalini energy was very painful or frightening experience for some people.
Kundalini Shakti can not be hurtful or painful as it is not something that is outside of you. It is your own subtle intrensic energy. But before raising the kundalini energy you should be worthy of holding that raised energy and using it for the benifit of yourself and others. For that you should follow certain rules. They are the first two limbs of any of the yogic pathways. They are Yama and Niyama.
Yama are
Ahimsa (non violence), Satya (truthfulness, honesty), Asteya (non-stealing), Brahmacharya: (chastity), Aparigraha (non-coveting).
Niyama are
Saucha (cleanliness), Santosha (contentment), Tapas (discipline),
Svadhyaya (self study), Ishvara Pranidhana (surrendering to a higher power)
After this comes third ie.
Asanas. In kundalini yoga only siddhasana or padmasana or even sukhasana are enough which help to sit for long time with a streight back.
The most important thing is an unwavering devotion and belief in the deity or higher power to whom you are surrendering in the yoga.
Only after this chakra energy should be raised.
