🌷 Japa yoga and Mantra yoga 🌷
part-2
There are many ways to open, align, heal and energise chakras. There are basic three yogas or ways for liberation. They are Jnanayoga (through knowledge) Bhaktiyoga (through devotion) and NishkamaKarma yoga (through working and serving humanity without expecting rewards).Though each one of these yoga pathways is capable of  liberation of  oneself, combination of all the three gives the quickest and the best results. In Kundalini (ShivaShakti) yoga we combine all above three yogas with Kriya yoga.  Pranayama, Mantra yoga and Animish drashti yoga(fixed point gazing) are the main three  kriyas which help us in ascending and reaching the chidakash in chakra yoga.
🌷Mantra yoga 🌷
"Mananat-trayate iti Mantrah" – Manana means  thinking or chanting ; Tra is (from ‘Trai’) meaning to protect or free from the bondage of Samsara.  By the combination of ‘Man’ and ‘Tra’ comes Mantra. A Mantra chanting is achieved by the mental process. By  Meditating (Manana) on mantra, the Jiva or the individual soul attains freedom and final liberation. The power of Mantra will definitely brings the change but it depends on the parameters like regularity, purity of mind and devotion.

A Mantra is considered a divinity encased within a sound-structure. It has divine power. Mantras are the ancient Sanskrit rhymes discovered by great seers in ancient yugas. The words are scientifically arranged in such a way and they are recited in such a specific tone, manner – that it leaves a definite vibrational effect on its surroundings. These vibrations have got the capacity to manifest divine energies in the environment.

Mantra chanting is bound by strict adherence to six rules – Varṇa (pronunciation), Svara (chanting notes), Mātrā (duration) Balam (force), Sāma (continuity) and Santāna (conjugation, punctuation). Mantra, has the following six parts.
It has got a Rishi to whom it was revealed for the first time. He is the Drashta for this Mantra eg. Sage Viswamitra is the Rishi for Gayatri. Secondly, the Mantra has a metre (Chhandas), which governs the inflection of the voice. Thirdly, the Mantra has a particular Devata, as its informing power. This Devata is the presiding deity of the Mantra. Fourthly, the Mantra has got a Bija or seed. The seed is a word or series of words, which gives a special power to the Mantra. The Bija is the essence of the Mantra. Fifthly, every Mantra has got a Shakti. The Shakti is the energy of the form of the Mantra, i.e., of the vibration-forms set up by its sound. These carry the man to the God that is worshipped. Lastly, the Mantra has a Kilaka – pin. This plugs the Mantra-Chaitanya that is hidden in the Mantra. As soon as the plug is removed by constant and prolonged repetition of the name or  mantra, the Chaitanya that is hidden is revealed. The devotee gets Darshana of the Ishta Devata.
*Beeja letter (seed letter) have dormant powers associated with it. Just like a seed when taken care grows into a tree, the beej mantras also start exhibiting their powers over a period of time after continuous practice. LAM-VAM-RAM-YAM-HAM-OM-
AUM (silence) are  the bija mantras, or one-syllable seed sounds of Kundalini yoga, to stimulate and unblock each chakra. Respectively, each sound aligns with the seven major energy centers: Muladhara, Svadistana, Manipura, Anahata, Visshudha, Ajna, and Sahasrara. At Sahasrara chakra instead of chanting we listen to Anahata naad AUM.

The mantra may be self learned or  given by his Guru. There are three main types of mantras: Bija (seed), Saguna (with form), and Nirguna (without form).

As per a scientific experiment the different types of sound vibrations are able to produce different types of images on sand. The vibrations produced by recitation leaves a positive vibrations on our body chakras and helps in harnessing our psychophysical energy system. We experience our real nature.
Knowing the exact meaning of the Mantra,  makes mantra recitation  affermative and effective.
Method:
Rudraksha Japa Mala is mainly used for chanting Shiva mantras.
Offering protection, enhacing positivity, and increasing mindfulness, the Rudraksha mala is ideal for meditation and japa.
Use your thumb to start with the guru bead and count each smaller bead, pulling it towards you as you recite your Mantra. Continue to do it 108 times till you reach your guru bead again.

Traditional mantra for activating and sealing in the energy in your new rudraksha mala is “Om Hrim Namah Shivaya Om.” Chant this mantra at least three times. Sit for at least five minutes to seal the energetic bond. Once you have activated your mala beads recite the name of your personal God or a mantra for 108times.
Why 108times?
According to yoga science, we have 108 marma points (vital points of life forces)54 points on each side in our body. So, this is why all mantras are chanted 108 times because each chant represents a journey from our material self towards our spiritual self. Each chant is believed to bring you 1 unit closer to our God within.
Each intersection has masculine (Shiva) and feminine (Shakti) qualities. 54 times 2 equal 108. Thus, there are 108 points that define the Sri Yantra as well as the human body.
